About the institute

A front door for the connected story of sleep, fatigue, weight, and metabolic health.

Modern Sleep and Metabolic Institute is being designed as a national physician-led education, care-discovery, and professional-participation ecosystem. Phase 1 begins with useful public education and responsible infrastructure.

The clinical thesis

People experience one body—even when care is organized into specialties.

Sleep is often the gateway into the conversation. Fatigue is the everyday signal. Metabolic health is the broader destination. The institute helps make those connections understandable without pretending every symptom has one cause.

Education before promotion

Clear answers, appropriate limits, authoritative sources, and named review accountability.

Verification before discovery

No provider should appear as verified until credentials and participation claims are checked.

Privacy before capture

The public site should not collect detailed health histories. Future health workflows belong in protected systems.

Clinical review

One named physician reviews the medical education on this site.

Domenico Savatta, MD, FACS serves as Editor-in-Chief and Clinical Review Lead. Dr. Savatta is a urologist certified by the American Board of Urology, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and the founder of Innovative Urology in New Jersey.

Every reviewed guide shows the exact date Dr. Savatta approved it. A guide that changes after that date says so on the page and marks the update as awaiting clinical review instead of borrowing the earlier approval. A guide published ahead of review carries a review-requested line until the review is complete.

Phase 1

The website establishes trust. The larger ecosystem comes later.

Patient tools, provider workflows, longitudinal records, and deeper integrations need separate product, privacy, security, ownership, and clinical approvals.
